Happy Halloweekend everyone!
ABC Family is showing Hocus Pocus right now…so jealous of everyone that gets that channel (thanks a lot, Time Warner).

I love October.
Cooler weather, Halloween, CANDY CORN, and the fact that after October comes November and Thanksgiving, and then December and Christmas :).

GPOYW: Tyree and I at the UTG Halloween party a couple weekends ago.
He’s my Superman :)
My Halloween costume: A Lion Beanie Baby!
Creative, cute, and a classic reference to pop culture from our childhood.
(I even wrote a little poem about me inside the tag like the real thing!)
Tell me what you think!

Day Twenty One- A picture of something that makes you gleeful.
(see what I did there?)
The Rocky Horror Picture Show-centered Glee episode airs on October 26th, and since I have never seen the movie before (yes, I’m a Rocky virgin), Tyree and I are going to watch it this weekend so I can be prepped for it.
I know the story line and a couple of the songs already, but I’m ready to fully experience the raunchiness that is Rocky Horror.
One reason I love October: carving pumpkins.
My church back home had a huge pumpkin patch every year that the youth would work, and my mom was the coordinator. I spent many Octobers working with her, turning pumpkins, sorting them by size, and taking pictures of cute toddlers climbing over the monster pumpkins.
It was always fun to pick out good pumpkins and “hide” them from the others so that we could take those home and carve them later. I haven’t gotten to carve my own pumpkin, though, in a few years.
I asked my boyfriend if we could carve pumpkins this year, so hopefully we’ll get to go to HEB or somewhere to get a couple to carve. My sorority is also carving pumpkins later this month, so hopefully my carving skills have improved (my jack-o-lanterns were always a little janky looking).
I know I’m late posting this, but this was Halloween me. Peter Pan! :]
Omg, cutest Halloween couple costume idea ever! :]
